So, I'm a happy driver with a 2013DS with over 32000km wich I did >10000km on.
Am I a lucky Zero driver or is it normal?

I’m about reaching 25000km on my sr 2015, with one visit to the dealer. Cause: intermittend 12v supply. Their solution don’t drive in the wet, any bring the bike indoor and turn on the heat when not in use. ;-@

O man, what a stupid advise.....
But I drive in rain a lot and never had a problem.
They should look in to it and solve it: open connection, wire isolation gone, whatever.....

Those kind of dealers really..... :-X
But maybe look for yourself at easy accesable spots en tape any place you don't trust. But even so, I didn't had these on a DS from 2013.... dealer should solve this with a smile.

Added a diginow 6.6 v2. The only problem I've got is never seeking a belt go above 6k miles. I get excited and give it too much throttle over a suspension compression of some kind and skip the teeth.

I'm happy because the 2017s have a wider belt and splined shaft off the rotor, so zero fixed the drama. I'm too poor to buy another right now so I've got extra belts on hand and watch the tension stays inside factory spec.

My buddy's BMW touring bike, has valve issues. Required adjustments every 6k repeated failures of the neutral switch, on and on. Suppose I should change my brake fluid soon...

I had the electric cord melting issue as described in another thread (actually poor spade connection on the bike side), but I've fixed it now, and everything's fine.  Started riding in 1974, and it's the best bike I've ever had.

I've had my 2017 DS for about a year and have had no issues except initial brake noise that went away after seating the rear brake pads and a few washes.
I love the quiet ride and the torque!

No problems here, other than a loud brake noise and vibration from my front brake when stopping hard during the last three feet of the stop. Cleaning the brake disc of pad powder helps for a short time, but then it returns.  I don't blame Zero for that noise, just J.Juan for their selection of brake pads.  If it ever irritates me too much, I have a new set of EBC pads ready to go.  ;)

2013 DS battery recall (that I think I started) and a rain caused no restart until it dried.  Which I did what that other dealer suggested and don't ride in the rain, which works well for me.

No issue involving product quality. Only a crash needing to replace handlebar and blinker, and glue together some plastic fairing parts. And a pulley broken by the guy whom I asked to replace the rear tire. Repair part was there within a week.

However, I'm somewhat nervous because of the famous crappy charger (MY 14) which does not always reach 100% and which could breakdown suddenly, as it happened already to a lot of riders here on the forum.

(bought new) 2011 XU had an intermittent problem with the motor not engaging upon startup, as well as sometimes completely stop working in the middle of riding down the road.  Sometimes repeated restarts would get past the issue, but only about 50% of the time.

(bought new) 2015 FX 's battery, upon reaching about 18% SOC, would start dropping quickly (down to 13% in maybe 15 seconds), and once reaching about 10%, would suddenly drop to 0% and stop working completely (no turtle mode at all).  A restart might get the motor going for maybe 5 seconds once or twice, to get me down the road a tad further, but that only worked on two occasions.  After pushing the dead bike home a few times, I learned to never get home with less than 20% on it.  And as best I can tell, the horn never worked.

(bought used with less that 2k miles) 2015 SR 's onboard charger stopped working after only two uses.  Luckily I already had an Elcon from my FX days.  Horn doesn't work on this one either.

Nevertheless, I'm pleased with the bikes.  For my current SR, I'm waiting for a full 3-piece Diginow 2.5, after which I will install the accessories I have for the bike (Corbin seat, crash bars, top and side boxes).

The other day my daughter ran my old 2014 S with PT down to 5% on the display and said that she didn't notice any decrease in performance while riding home on a highway at 40 mph. She said she had no problem holding 55 mph on the freeway at 20% SOC before then.

My 2013DS I allways use the Zero app as extra dashboard.
When my bike fuel indicator shows like no bars anymore, I have like 15% battery on the app.
I know for 3 times the hard way that at 5-10% the performance will drop slowly and between 0-5% the controls will shut of completely, at that time doing 10km/h... :o

Ai, only 50% responding owners of a Zero didn't have any problems with their Zero.

Hope more owners will respond and the percentage hopefully rise!

2016 FXS 11kW, with near 7000 kms.
I never went back to the dealer since he is too far (200 kms) and nothing serious on my bike.
So, I still have the original firmware.
Some small problems:
- The dash gives a false value for "Life AV", the average bike consumption, http://electricmotorcycleforum.com/boards/index.php?topic=7839
- From time to time, my rear brake makes a whining sound. This stops with a loud "click" (or rather "clonck") when I hit the rear brake.
- Sometimes, the bike does not wake up when I turn on the key. Generally it works at the second or third attempt.

TOO MUCH TROUBLE: When I eventually do get it back from the dealer (it is still there from nov 2017, started with 2nd failed DC to DC converter then moved onto spectacular firmware update failure as posted on this forum under separate thread) I will definitely sell it and never buy one again. IN FACT, I have asked their after sales service manager josef morat and new ceo sam paschel to buy back this rubbish bike from me, but no luck with that. PS apparently zero did buy back all their 2012 models at some stage because of insurmountable technical problems!?
