I can get free top case and mounting bracket now on the small bike. A Givi monolock (a monokey would have piqued my interest more).

I was looking at this bike couple of months ago with intent to purchase, but the price is too high, and with the stupid tax war started by the US, it looks to stay that way, so I'll probably end up with a Chinese bike. But we'll see, I'll keep my current bike for at least one more year, and things may have changed then.

Speaking of Chinese motorcycles: I heard recently that they were on the list of items prepared by our illustrious leader that would be hit with big new tariffs when they enter the U.S. Considering how many Chinese motorcycles are sold here, compared with elsewhere, I don't think that particular tariff threat is going to have the Chinese shaking in their boots.  ::)
No, but it may have a big effect on e-bicycle sales. Many if not most of the components (electric & otherwise) are sourced from China (IIRC, virtually all frames, including for high-end brands), even if the suppliers themselves are not Chinese companies. My understanding this is a 25% tariff, and applies to both finished bikes as well as components.

I picked up a '17 model in June of '18 for what I thought was a pretty decent deal.  It's a Zero S with charge tank, $11.5k.  It was new though and not demo.  Had 3 miles on it when I took it home.  There are deals out there but not a lot since it's not a popular bike.

Fingers crossed, going to the dealer on Saturday.  If nothing else, I'm hoping for a "Pity Deal" as I'm a good customer of theirs.  It'll help that I'll need crutches to get up their front steps...

I got about $4000 off a my 2015 in November of 2015.  It had a decent amount of miles on it- $800 and someone had dropped it, but everything that was touched was replace.  I shipped it form Alabama to California for cheap.  It helps to buy in the fall when no one is entering the motorcycle shops and no one is riding.  They are itching to get rid of over ripe inventory.  Buying in my state always comes with a premium, so I have bought a lot of vehicles out of state.

From Alabama... was it from Big #1 in Birmingham?  I got a '15 FX from them at the same time 😁âš¡🏍️

Well, I spoke to the salesman yesterday.  He's going to crunch some numbers and get back to me.  He was SUPPOSED to get back to me later in the day, but so far I haven't heard anything.  Probably won't hear anything till Tuesday (after the three day weekend here in the US and Canada).

Do they still stock Zeros? I checked their website and it seems like they don't have any.

I'm afraid not.  I'm pretty sure the last two Zeroes they sold were a used '15 SR (to me) followed by a used '15 FX (my trade-in).

Closest dealer to me now is WOW Motorcycles near Atlanta, which is where I got my first bike ('11 XU).
