which pinion/belt/ring gear for more "power"?
« on: February 09, 2018, 08:01:01 PM »

Hello ,

i would like to change my pinion , belt and my ring gear for more "power" on my fxs , but i don't know what is the original settings ...

can you tell me what is the original settings about the pinion /belt and ring gear please
and do you think removing 1 tooth of pinion and add 2 or 3 tooth on the ring gear is a good idea ?

Sorry for my English , i hope its comprehensible.

thanks in advance

Pour les Français :

salut,

merci d'avance

Brian T Rice and other have made an unofficial manual.  It's a great source for a lot of questions.
Zero used to sell a "more torque"  package but they only have a "more speed" option now.
Here is a link to the sprocket section of the manual.  Also you may want to check with
Hollywood Electrics 323 654-8271  They can get it for you if it can be had.
