Any possibility the Alta ST will become a purchasable Reality?

Doubt it, but I'm not really in the loop but I find it unlikely any time soon, I think that bike is more of "look what we can do" sort of machine, I'm not sure where it would land in their current line-up.  I'm an old guy with the SM and think it might be time for a more practical (more comfy with wind protection) machine with a larger battery for a little more range, I know full well that they are capable of building a high quality machine, I'm excited to see what Alta has in store, sadly, I don't think the ST is it.  I hope I'm wrong, it's a cool bike...

Would be neat to see Alta step into the flat track arena against ICE bikes with it like they did with Red Bull Straight Rhythm.

You mean like that time we went to the Santa Rosa short track event?

I got an chance to throw an leg over the ST at IMS NYC. It felt unbelievably light and flickable. The lower suspension really helped drop the CG. It would be an weapon on a single lane twisty road. Would love if Alta came out with an 3rd model along the lines of the ST.

Given the current state of battery technology, I think Alta is very smart to concentrate on the light weight / huge torque / limited run time segment of the EVMC market, where competition is almost non-existant and most buyers have the specialty-bike mindset.
