Three. That's probably a record of sorts. I've heard of couples having his and hers, but three in one family is probably a first.
Was wind direction a factor on your ride Richard? Or perhaps even ambient temperature? We all know how much extra power it takes to ride over 70mph and I'd be very surprised if the lack of regen on throttle closed is enough to compensate.
My custom mode is always set to 100% for everything. I should try your settings, although I do love the extra speed control from the throttle. I just wish the regen was progressive, rather than on/off.
No wind and the temperature, both coming and going, was 55 degrees F.
I like having everything set to maximum, except for closed throttle. Using that approach, I can do a lot of coasting when I shut my throttle, which uses no power and results in little slowing that then needs throttle to regain your intended speed. The other advantage to this setup is that when you slow down you need to touch the front brake slightly to activate maximum regen and this also causes the brake light to come on, thereby alerting vehicles behind you that you are slowing down. (This is an issue for the C-Evolution scooter, which apparently has a very strong regen effect without activating the brake light.)
The silver Zero in the photo is my bike, which was recharging while we were hiking and having lunch at the nearby lake. The red 2012 S and the yellow 2014 S are my daughter's Zeros, as is the 1981 BMW R65LS in the photo. (There are four other motorcycles in her garage that are not visible in the photo.)
