Hello,

I dropped my bike with a accident with an animal. I rode my bike 5 km to my home without any electric problems.  Now has my shop made some test on the battery. The isolation test failed! Is this possible a big problem?

Think you’ve got some connections failing. All readings from cell 0 and upwards are equal !! They’ll never be that in the real world. Your voltage is some 50v thats half the voltage it should be!
The resistance betw each cell and gnd is zilch when turned on meaning that the voltage would be zero!!!  Meaning the battery would be a giant paperweight.
Ask the shop to do it over again, and when doing so use their brains.

Thanks for the fast response and explenation!

I was also thinking that something went wrong with that test.  If there realy are issues with the battery , would that be noticable when riding? Could a drop dammeged the cells? There is nothing to see on the outside.

The batterypack (brick) is quite sturdy, as if punctured or shorted it’ll bursy in to a rather violent fireball. Thats a liability i think Zero can’t afford. Therefor each brick is potted in epoxy
