KTM Bringing Freeride to USA in 2017
« on: July 26, 2017, 07:34:59 AM »

I'm really glad to see KTM bringing the Freeride to the USA.  Would love to see them introduce some more electric motorcycles  ;D

Only at 11 dealerships though....let's hope interest for the beta program is high and in short order all KTM dealers offer the Freeride.  At least they are taking dealer training seriously when it comes to working on high voltage.

My BMW dealer says that the BMW C-Evolution scooter should arrive in dealer showrooms in December.  A great time to introduce an brand new model. Initial sales ought to be "brisk".  ::)

Didn't see any range numbers in the posted article but 2.6 kWh can't be much.  Still hope to see it do well, it's priced sorta decent and could make an awesome track bike.

Get em while you can.

It's nice ce to see that Malcom Smith is one of the 11 chosen dealers.

This is a real life test of the freeride e. Especially important is the end where he summarize the distance the bike is capable of handling in one charge (dirt & road use). Not much.
Besides that, the bike seems great with high quality components. I love the left hand rear brake setup (stock).

I'm glad to see another choice on the market. Electric motorcycles are not going to succeed until there are far more choices than are available today.
