Experiencing the same issue here (in the UK) too with iOS 10 and the Zero app.

iOS 10 has been in beta for months, I don't think it's iOS 10's fault that no one fixed the app in that whole time. :(

Since I have never used the Zero app prior to iOS 10,  am I missing anything? Is there something the app does that is necessary or fundamental in using with the motorcycle? I've never had a custom setting so I'm not missing that.  Just curious.

If you have trouble with your motorcycle, it does allow extracting the logs for diagnostics. It also provides information that the dash does not. And it sets the custom mode parameters.

Zero is aware of the Bluetooth connectivity problem with iOS 10. At this time, it's not clear if the root of the issue is with iOS, the app, or some combination of the two. One thing that is clear, we're not alone...not that it helps those who have run into the bug. All I can say is that the problem is being actively researched and worked on. When I learn something useful, will post here.

And, as a friendly reminder, I am a Zero Motorcycles employee.

A new version of the Zero app for iOS was released today. It should fix the iOS 10 / Bluetooth problem.

Yes, working again on my iPhone 6SPlus, with latest iOS 10. (Actually the beta of the next update). I did have to repair my phone (which took me a while to remember - hold down the mode select button on the right handlebar for 5+ seconds until Bluetooth logo blinks on dash).

It feels like the app now reconnects more automatically than even before the bug!

Fixed it.  I had to delete the app, re-install it, then re-pair it but it works!
