Bleh, hype over something that would have been impressive 3 years ago. Not only can you get better performance (range, speed, etc..) out of a modified 2016 Zero S 15.8kw, but the Zero is a production bike, this is a concept 1 off. I'm sure there are dozens of individual electric scooters/motorcycles which can go over 230 miles on a charge. Not only that, this thing doesn't sound very efficient in terms of weight, energy usage per mile, or charging time/platforms needed. They should have framed it as a cool addition to an already wide field but instead they make it sound like it's revolutionary.
Not to mention... I have it on good authority that the market is going to be revolutionized in the (hopefully near) future; Electric vehicles won't even use big batteries (there's something better in the works and I know someone trying to get a patent so I won't say more) and all of the gas powered cars will be converted to run on hydrogen fuel.
