How does this compares to Zero's?

Interesting. I am curious about the copper bar they was installing in the video... i guess these are heat bus..

However, their calculation of kW per gallon is wrong... They hav eto also include the liquid cooling pump, tubes and radiator and maybe blower...

The Zero air cooled motor dont need all these parts.. the goal of the Zero motor design was exactly to reduce the required parts and make it simple.

No spec or pdf to read about their motor tech, very lite on info the web sights, easy to make claims but where the spec  to back it up.
looks like their are overclocking the motor with their good cooling solution to get more power out. But as Doc say you need a lot more
parts and weight to support it.

Yea it basically looks like they slipped a copper bar into the slot to make good contact with the winding all the way to the middle of the slot. Then they have a simple cooling loop on the end of the motor.  I love the concept.

Less pressure in the cooling system so higher flow rates could be possible. That coupled with the higher conductivity of the copper bars could give them quite a bit higher continuous power. I bet twice that of one with most liquid cooling. The conductivity may even be good enough to improve the peak power.

Would be cool to see a more detailed data sheet.

They are with Panoz very interesting.  Autoclave ovens, wielding, machining, CAD engineering, racing background, these people could make one hell of a super bike if they choose to use that motor for that purpose.

Alta takes a different approach to their motor, one that they claim provides "a whopping 122 ft-lbs of torque at the counter shaft from zero RPM" and "plenty of torque to loft the front wheel whenever you need to". Water cooled and 14,000 RPM.
