My petition:

Stop wasting money on Hydrogen. Batteries and fast charging is the future.

Billions have been squandered just to protect future tax revenues using a similar model to fuel duty. Using Hydrogen is inefficient, expensive, unsafe and still relies on fossil fuel. See what Elon Musk says about Hydrogen: Scroll to 10m 30s for the relevant section.

This document illustrates the government's intentions: http://www.ippr.org/files/images/media/files/publication/2011/05/tomorrowslowcarboncars_1282.pdf?noredirect=1 Battery technology has caught up. Most peoples' bladders don't have the range that modern battery powered vehicles have. Fast charging ensures you're back on the road in the time it takes to have a cup of tea and short break (20-30 minutes). With cheap solar and home storage you'll soon be able to charge at home and pay no tax.
