2015 S/SR mirrors
« on: July 15, 2015, 01:36:25 AM »

The left mirror on my 2014 SR has been banged up a couple of times, and needs replacing. But I've hated these mirrors since the day I bought the bike, and I really like the look of the new mirrors much better. Does anybody know off-hand if the 2015 mirrors will fit on the 2014 bike? If I'm going to replace one of them, I might as well upgrade them both to something I actually like.

HA ha! I replaced the 2015 mirrors with the 2014 mirrors for a much better view of more than my shoulders & elbows, so yes, I know they will interchange.

As a matter of fact, any aftermarket "stalk" mirrors with the Yamaha/Ducati-style left-hand-threaded left mirror will fit.

I just confirmed fit today, after buying a bunch of spare mirrors in scratch-and-dent condition. I have 2014/2013 spares, but I'm personally liking the 2015s. It's probably a personal body fit whether one's shoulders take up the view.

I suppose I should have posted a follow-up. I did get the 2015s, they fit, and I much prefer their look and function as well. I've been happily riding with them for a couple of months now.
