I think I'll try using the 2016 KTM 85SX 43mm front end, if the dimensions are close enough. It'll surely take some work (especially the wheel) but it will be worth it to me for an excellent fork and brake.

I was always thinking if the OD for the triple fit the new forks you would simply swap the front wheel, brake, and forks in one shot ? Seems like the "easiest" way to do a conversion. Might not be the cheapest of course.

EDIT: Just realized the spacing of the forks could make it impossible to swap the front tire >__< If the space was bigger I could see a spacer being made but you can't do anything if it is smaller.

Yes, I definitely have some homework to do before pulling the trigger.  I'd use the KTM hub, obviously.
