« on: June 17, 2009, 10:27:33 PM »

Here are some notes I took from a Craig Bramscher interview by Bootcamp.com

They are actually very general notes and keywords from the interview. I hope they give you an idea of what to expect in the interview. The tuning and API information was really cool to hear.

“We’ve limited it” for drivability.
Enertia is an "Urban Commuter"
No clutch and gears, no noise.
Strip it down and it looks like a pile of electronics
Blue-tooth, wifi enabled
Consumer electronics you ride.
Remote diagnostics
Startup sound that represents Brammo - Contest coming soon
Motor simulation sounds
Sms messaging
GPS Triggers for geocoding pictures snapped by onboard camera
Wifi software not fully implemented yet and won’t be shipped in July
Effortless propulsion
Legislation requiring low speed sound.
$11995, federal tax credit and state tax credit can bring it under $10K
Brembo Brakes, marzocchi forks
Outside the normal realm of motorcycling.
Target Customer: Green, always thought mc’s would be cool but never did it.
Average commuter is 26 miles round trip. Brammo does 45.
