Don't get me wrong I think the car is quick but put a bunch of people who have never experienced 0-60 in the 3 second range, fourth ore an electric 0-60 is much snappier than a gas 0-60 which will be pulling much harder than the electric by the time you hit 60

So duh they are all going to think its the fastest thing ever...

Put someone like top gear guys in it.     They have been in every car every to me they could give a real classic response sitting in the passenger seat

They would test drive the crap outta it!!!!

Need someone who has been in many different quick to slow vehicles, not this as their first 3 sec 0-60 time.   Hell of a way to experience it though

I hate to say it but I'd almost be more impressed with the gas sub 3 sec 0-60 time vs the electrics strictly on the fact that now having ridden/driven electric vehicles I expect them to accelerate very quickly

And I think hell would freeze quite solid before Elon Musk let a Tesla near Top Gear after what they pulled last time.

I think Elon would install an "enable electricity to driver instead of motor" mod just for Jeremy Clarkson.

Did I miss the roast of the current one?

Either way new firmware update means 2.8 sec 0-60. I don't know if I can outrun that even with my modded fx

Fun video!  It really shows what it actually feels like to have incredible acceleration of an electric car on demand at any time.

Realistically very few bikes would.  They say an R1 does 0-60 in x seconds but that is a trained rider with tyre warmers on a runway with half a litre of fuel. In the real world you would never get anywhere close except the occasional fluke where your clutch and gear change is spot on.

That's the amazing thing about the Tesla, it will do that every day for months.  Try launches like that in a gas super car and you would be changing the clutch every weekend.
