Preston Petty and his Zero flat tracker
« on: December 17, 2014, 02:30:35 AM »

Just saw this article about Preston Petty and thought I'd share:

Sounds like a great guy who is/was part of motorcycle history.

This is a great article.   Great background on who Preston Petty is.  I also enjoy that he is showing what these electric bikes can do.  Only way to change hearts and minds.

Brammofan – that was a great find, thanks for sharing !!
Back in the day, the Preston Petty name was ubiquitous with dirt bikes.
I remember buying some aftermarket bits to put on the Yamaha enduro, that I sorrowfully tried to turn into a dirt bike riding machine.
The article brought back some good memories.

Good to hear that he's active and hard-charging at 73, and has more years to live doing the things that keeps him going !!
