Hi JefRo, we met in Bluff UT. Sounds like a good ride, thanks. I'll be back to Bluff in Sept with my FX and my e-converted trike just like last year. Next week will be e-trike riding fire roads deep in the Klamath Forest, those are typically 5,000' climbs. Then Pike's Peak at end of June. Are you going to be at PP to see the race?

I have no desire to ever ride a gas bike in the dirt again. If I did I would just be wishing I had an electric for the entire time. I've been so spoiled and addicted by the Zero bikes.

Trikester, it looks like there will be less electric vehicle presence at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb this year. http://insideevs.com/2014-pikes-peak-international-hill-climb-electric-division-entries/. I will not be on the mountain for the race, instead I will be enjoying the numerous riding activities around the state around that time.
