Me too  (ev for the future) i take it you have read about the build i am undertaking
just checking on the regs for registration but am hoping to build a new roller and fit the warp 9 and use a  manzanito controller in a gsxr type frame or build a more suitable frame harris trellis type to allow better positioning of components
Have you thought about developing rider aids on your bike (I am not  sure what you
have ) I think this is a area that could be fun with wheel speed sensors and abs to help in the weather conditions there

Ha is funny I go on a ev site they dis ice .I go to cyclone they dis both ice and ev
I follow m theory ie gather as much info as you can and adapt it to get the best result
You can never learn to much I say

Yes. Power, torque and very low noise are reasons to prefer electric to ICE. Plus the "eco" feeling you get !

ICE's only advantages are
  - autonomy (if you need to go 150+ km and only have 15' for a refill, than stick to ICE)
  - second hand market (an electrical bike it today impossible to resell even with huge discounts)
  - customer service (ICE have large service networks, user bases and market for spare parts. With electrical you can be confronted with nightmare experiences related to supply chain, unability to fix issues, and nobody really in charge - look at the "Serious issues" topic of the zero motorcycles 2013 category)

Yeah, I know what you mean about the second hand market, but then there are MUCH better ideas than selling the bike.
That battery pack is worth its weight in gold, and has a couple of money saving uses around the house.

I have plans for the ZF9 when I stop riding mine.
