Vectrix to produce the VT-1

According to this article, Vectrix claims that it will be marketing a new small motorcycle called the VT-1.  It will be designed for in-town commuting use and will have replaceable batteries and a top speed of 55 mph.  Here is a link to the story:

Don't be fooled by the attached photo, that is of their concept electric super bike that never went into production (too bad about that).

It would be nice if they came up with actual names instead of letter/number notations for their bikes.  Glad Vectrix is back up and running.

It is not a motorcycle but a scooter with removable batteries
