Jpaulus, I would point you to Hollywood Electric, my dealer. They've handled the whole install and set up for me. I am not too manual, so I didn't even try.
But glad you like the mods. I think it changes the looks of that bike quite a bit, and for the better!!

You can mount the Wingrack using the Universal Fitting Kit but it is not a straight forward install.

I use the following parts:

N141 Wingrack 2
Y127 Universal Fitment Kit
Y100 Universal Connection Bridge Kit (necessary for 2010-11 models)

No frame modifications are made, the kit bolts to existing mounting points: seat bolts and passenger peg mounting holes.

If anyone is interested in purchasing a kit, I'm more than happy to order the rack and accessories you need and help guide you through the installation process.  I don't have many good pictures of the installation to post here but will try to document it better in the future.  Email me if you have any questions or would like a quote harlan at hollywoodelectrics.com

I am interested into the LED headlight. Do like electriccowboy did to concert to a 2012 with LED. Is that from Zero? Contacted the trucklite guys and theirs fits straight into 2011 - however they say cannOt use in Oz as is symmetrical. Then againmy current one looks pretty sym !?

It's not actually an LED light.  Both electriccowboy and Larry have an HID light installed.  It is much brighter than the stock light at about half the power draw.  It is only a single beam, so when you switch to high beam, the HID light turns off but the small running light will stay on.

Paulus, I am not sure what you means by attachment point?

And yes the box is great for that size of bike: big enough to carry things, but small enough so that it doesn't look out of proportions with the Zero S.

It is not clear where the Universal Fitment attaches on the other side of the bike to steady the case there.  Could you please post a photo of that side of the bike?  thank you!

The HID Light is an H4 8000K light.  We have those in stock, they are $59.95.

The tail chop kit is a kit that we've put together.  It consists of the LED taillight board, solid state flasher unit and a custom waterjetted, powdercoated bracket of our own design.  We have those kits in stock for $180, ($350 installed).

I changed my 2010 DS to a xenon lamp. I got 3 1/2 times the light of the stock halogen at less current drain. The dual-beam version wouldn't fit the casing so I used a single beam version and connected it to the high beam wiring from the switch. When I'm riding dirt trails or empty highways I switch to low beam which turns off the headlight but leaves the running light on. This saves me some power drain.

The xenon headlight conversion kit comes with all of the connectors etc., so no wiring is cut to make the change. It's all "plug and play".

I haven't done this mod on my 2012 DS yet
