XB600
« on: January 17, 2009, 09:59:29 PM »

I HAVE A XB600 BY XETREME. ITS SEEMED LIKE A GOOD BIKE AT FIRST BUT HAS GIVEN ME PROBLME.
AFTER ABOUT 4 MONTHS, I GOT A FLAT. IT TOOK 4 MONTHS TO GET THE PROPER INNER TUBE TO GET THE BIKE ON THE ROAD AGAIN. NEXT, I READ IT YOU TAKE OFF THE BACK WHEEL TO FIX THE FLAT THE BOLTS WILL NEVER TIGHTEN
AGAIN, AND SURE ENOUGH THE BOLTS DIDNT AND THE MOTOR SPUN AND TWISTED THE WIRES.
NOW I AM PLANNING TO REPLACE THE MOTOR ($150) AND USE THE OLD ONE AS A SPARE, BUT I AM CONCERNED
THE BOLTS WILL LOOSEN AGAIN.
HAS ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM OR SIMILAR PROBLEMS WITH THE XB600. I AM DEBATING WHETHER TO
PUT MORE MONEY INTO THIS BIKE OR JUST WAIT FOR THE VECTRIX V1E, WHICH I HOPE IS MORE AFFORDABLE
THEN THE VX1. ;)

Hey sorry to hear about the problems with the XB600.  Did you try locktite on the threads?
