Depending on the price, I might pay for it. It could pay for itself in a few 3.5-hour drives to the dealer.

Trying to keep the price very reasonable.

it's already got an OBDII port doesn't it?

just get a bluetooth-obd module and Torque, just need the PID's from Zero

I'm talking your bike is 350 miles from the nearest dealer and rather than drive there, they can just connect in to your bike, and see how things look.

I realize that.....Look at Torque again.... it's got telnet for developers . Just need to set up a server and give Zero access or write a plugin that can act as a remote server.

I don't know, but if it does, I'm all over your suggestion :) I use a couple of OBD tools (Torque being one) with a Bluetooth OBD scanner on my cages and love 'em.

Yes for sure. Remote diag. Does the Zero 2011 or older have onboard logging computer? On my sporty i can tead out the diag codes easily and determine whats wrong.

So far done only Skype. Allows at least to look and hear.

Not sure about before the 2011, but the 2011 and 2012 both do have an onboard single thread computer called the MBB ( main bike board ). It is also hooked into the BMS and other sensors on the bike.

You integrated your bike with skype?

Hi Ecowboy --
not quite "integrated" with Skype. just a remote call with Zero to troubleshoot a problem. Its better than emails, or even email to a ICE-dealer, then forwards to Zero, then gets reply, then tells me I need the sparkplugs replaced (or so....).

Would love to know a way to log, download and transmit system data to Zero or use for other purposes.

Keep me in mind, Ecowboy.  I have a 2010 DS but I'd like to try it anyway.

Hey Ed, I am also working on a non-ECU implementation. This might be of use to you as the 2010 doesn't support 3rd party ECU hookups.

Hi Electric Cowboy
any news on your projects in relation to  the 2011 or older models. Seems we are getting stuck by now.... need some way to diag the bike.
