Sevcon calibrator request
« on: June 14, 2011, 03:40:49 AM »

Hi guys.  New here and right off the bat I'm asking for help. :D  I have an 84 GPz900 with a D&D SepEx motor and Sevcon PowerPak controller.  I bought a calibrator off of eBay for the Sevcon and it works fine, so I can program the controller as I like.  I'm writing a PC program that emulates the calibrator and it too works fine, but there's a catch.  It seems as though depending on the PowerPak you have you need a different calibrator than the one I have.

So does anyone have a Sevcon calibrator part number 662/14063 or newer? The one I purchased is part number 622/14022. It turns out that the older one that I have won't allow you to program newer PowerPak controllers, although it does communicate with them and will show the current settings. I'm trying to find out what the difference is as all the logic is contained in the controller, not the calibrator, (at least for the one that I have.)

Let me know if you have one and I can pick your brains about it. Thanks!
