Zero branded rear soft case and saddle bags
« on: May 12, 2011, 08:11:03 AM »

My Zero branded rear soft case and duel saddle bags arrived today! I'll take some pics after I install them tomorrow. They look great and add some serious functionality to my 2010 DS. I also bought the 2011 DS front tire for it's more street friendly tread. I need to get that installed since it is a tubeless tire now. I'll post some pics are the install for sure!

Adam

PS. I also get my cam boot off tomorrow following my Achilles rupture and subsequent surgical repair. I haven't been able to ride my Zero for the past 3 months! I can't wait to get out and ride now that I'll have my right foot back for some rear brake action!

Hi Adam,
looking forward to the photos. Suggest u do your left foot and then you can ride the Zeros easily with the boot on - worked for me  :)

cheers

Very cool, Adam! Who did you order the case and saddlebags from? I don't see them on the Zero web site.

So far, I've been using a backpack to carry gear with me on my Zero DS, but some attached baggage would be much more convenient.

BTW, I thought Zero was working on some aluminum hard cases for the DS. Did that end up falling through?

The luggage is not yet up on the website but I've attached a picture for you all to see.

If anybody is interested in ordering a set for their bike, I'd be happy to help you with that.

Those are really cool bags!  Is the top bag big enough for helmet? (e.g., full face helmet?)

I ordered the bags and the new front tire directly from a direct contact I have with Zero. I installed them this week and they look great. Photos coming. You had to get creative with all the traps they supply but it goes on with little fuss...it will be more of a nuisance to take them off!

Also I can fit my full face XL scorpion helmet in the center case with the expanded unzipped. It's a tight fit but the zipper closes!

Pics to follow.
