This surprises even me and I am very optimistic about the future and capability of Zero!

That is very cool that Zero competed in this event. I was going to write something up on Plugbike about this. I spent some time trying to figure out exactly what they accomplished. Don't get me wrong, finishing any of the race is amazing.

From what I can gather the two Zero bikes competed in the two Prolog races which serve as qualifying runs before the main event on the last day. The score sheet says they started the main event but I don't see their times anywhere on the final score sheet...

Maybe they don't count anything below the 500th rider?

Regardless, the fastest rider finished in 1 hour 45 minutes. So the riders would need to make multiple pack changes. Wish we had more details on what happened but nice work Zero in competing and doing well in such a ball buster of a hare scramble!

Thanks for additional info Skadamo. I have a feeling it was just as you said a prolog or something like a special test. Unless they were able to stage cells on the course it would be very difficult to finish the main event. The bike is capable as I'm sure the riders are but the energy density would have been the point of failure.

We are moving in the right direction though. Very exciting!
