Looks like game over for Energica. Fuck Ideanomics and that cocksucker Alf Poor.

What does the future hold for us now? I guess we will not have any parts or support, and since the software is proprietary, no way to diagnose or fix things?

IDK how the Italian laws operate. Here in Germany you can declare insolvency to get a first protection from creditors to be able to maybe get the company on track again.
So maybe it is not completey over RN.

The mechanical spare parts can be got on the free market. Only of the rear brake disc I don't know the Brembo spare part number yet.
But if the bike needs any electronic components, then we're fucked.

Maybe a manufacturer like Piaggio purchases the remaining (proprietary) hard- and software out of the bankruptcy estate. This way, some parts may be available at least for a limited time to come.

Well, just look at the differences between Zero and Energica's products and therein lies the answer.

Yeah, I just got my Experia back for a warranty repair a few days ago. I feel like I kind of dodged a bullet.

As for the future, I'm going to ride it till it breaks and then try to fix it and ride some more. It's a sunk cost so I'm going to get the most I can out of it.

There's a budding network of owners that will help support each other. Lobbying with Energica to release any source code to allow us to clear our own faults, and establishing a database of common parts with other models to keep us in turn signals, wheel bearings, and brake discs, etc...

Energica of New England will probably find a niche with Energica like they have with Motus (the premium American longitudinal V4 Sport Tourer) Supporting a long gone name plate. It's not a total shit sandwich yet.

Ouch - I should've sold my Eva Ribelle for 10K when someone offered it to me lol

Here's hoping someone with resources comes in to save them.

As far as I know, Zero had or still has a deep-pocketed long-term backer who was willing to soak up big losses for a long time to get it going, and unless something has changed I believe they’re still a long way from breaking even.

Agreed. EONE might be able to carve quite a niche for themselves among the several-thousand owners. I don’t know how much cash they have lying around, but if they can acquire the remaining stock of spare parts at liquidation prices and collect some know-how on software workarounds, they can become the one-stop shop for Energica owners worldwide. I might even be in the market for an Experia or EMCE SS9 in the next couple of years if used prices come down and there’s still strong unofficial support.
