People with (let's call it 'low self esteem') will definitely appreciate a feature like this. 'Low self esteem' customers are a profitable market segment. They always buy the top model and add all the extras.

Kind of like the Nice Corvette, sorry about your penis crowd?

Well there are the nerds who buy Harleys because they think it will turn them into a badass.  The nerdiness can't be hidden so, they get their e bikes, but wait, they can still SOUND like a Harley badass now too!!  That's some serious nerd cred there !!

All bullshit aside, I do believe in commiefornia or one of them lovely places, it is a law that the electric vehicles have to make some sort of noise so people can hear it coming and not be surprised.   Someone walked out in front of one and got clobbered, cried, I didn't hear it, sued and won some g h t o buxxx.  So much for looking both ways when crossing the street.

11kw battery and a range of 250?  hmm... I dunno about that one.

Most modern sports cars have "enriched" engine sounds, and I've always found that laughable. I can't imagine wanting this but I've seen commenters various places say it would make them more likely to buy an electric bike so who even knows

I mean fake engine sounds are useless anyway, but how would you "rev" the engine?

Like at Stoplights and in front of Starbucks, y'know....the places where loud-pipes-save-lives people like to rev their engines.

This is just going to add noise as your riding down the road?

There should be a legal requirement for some kind of noisemaker to be attached to all bikes so they can call attention to themselves. Maybe you could activate it with a button on the handlebars or something.
