TC/ABS Red lights going crazy until restart
« on: September 20, 2024, 08:22:17 PM »

Hey, this morning on my daily the TC lights were going nuts, blinking continually on the slightest throttle above precisely 50km/h.

I know the TC can be a bit paranoid is some grip conditions but this was far beyond that, event the cruise control on a flat road at constant speed was making it blink continually.

I stopped on the side of the road, restarted the bike, and the problem was completely gone. No more tc lights unless I tried to.

The only unusual thing was that I started the bike while maneuvering on a slight slope and at full steering lock, maybe the actual "go" mode enabled while the bike was slightly moving ?

In any case it was a bit scary but no harm done, I'm curious if this is a rare or known thing.

Im going to have to say rare.  Ive had an occasional 'event' when I turned the bike on or was trying to put in 'go' mode while it was already moving and it didn't like that very much.

As long as it's fixed then Id write it off as a gremlin.  Id check the sensors just to be sure though that they are good and tight and clean, ie no crap, especially magnetic / metallic on them.
