You can also just disable the LEDs in the menu options.

And, for my part, my 2018 SS9 is still my favorite bike. Over 43,000 miles and it's dependable as ever.

Awesome!

I still miss my SS9 13.4 like crazy and wish I didn't have to sell it, but I could only count on about 55 miles of highway range from the small battery and that just didn't serve my needs. My current 2007 FJR1300 AE is just too effortlessly good at everything to go back to electric right now, but I have my eye on an Experia or future-equivalent when the time is right. Even the mighty FJR's torque doesn't compare to an Energica's instant electric gut-punch, and a gas throttle will never have the surgical precision of a good e-moto.

My SS9 is indeed my favorite bike. I have had 12 bikes over 20 years and if I still had them all I would pick the SS9 the most often. Currently, I also have a Tuono 660 Factory which I think is a perfect contrast (lightweight and revvy).

Not having owned a motorbike for decades, I re-started riding in '22 with the Ribelle (blame it to rethinking things after Covid and perhaps midlife crisis  ;D).
After 50,000 km I can honestly say I do not need or want something else.

I am not a hardcore tree hugger, but knowing this hobby is not or nearly not polluting the environment with noise and fumes is giving me a good feeling.  8)

I owened roughly 20 bikes and I loved my Brutale800RR but the reliability was a bit limited similar in case of my ZeroSR/F. So I got my SS9+ and I am pretty happy with it after some modifications. So momentarily yes, it is my favorite, but we never know what the future will bring... ;)

The future will hopefully bring even better electric bikes!

Energica should figure out how to sell Elon Musk on the product (I know Musk claimed in the past he will never build a motorcycle).

Imagine a Tesla motorcycle...

Would not be impossible for Energica to hire and task a specialist to reach Musk and sell that idea.  Electric motorcycles need investment dollars, visionary limit pushers, and much better publicity.

No thanks, and honestly Musk is not worth wanking over.

Explain.  With genuine curiosity and respect... What am I misunderstanding about the potential to expand the state of the art?

Its all about Elon, not Tesla.
I won't even buy a glas of water from him if I'm dieing of thirst. He is no good man …

Focusing on the ability to bring exciting electric vehicular technology to market, he has a good credentials.

If he became passionate about electric motorcycles, and teamed up with Energica, we could see some amazing things.

Imagine a Tesla motorcycle...

OK, my eyes are closed and I’m imagining the plastic panels not quite fitting together, the owners changing lanes obliviously, and the bike detecting it’s at a third-party repair shop and being banned from the charging network.  ;)

My favorite bike mainly depends on where I am going.

By far, I use my Zero DSR/X the most.  It's usually the most convenient for my rides and usually costs nothing to operate. There are countless free-to-use J-1772 and Tesla Destination charge stations in CA & NV where I do most of my riding.

It is definitely my favorite bike. I sold my KTM 1190 ADV as soon as I got my Experia home. I honestly feel like they are very comparable. Especially in terms of power and weight.

I'm taking the Experia this weekend to Weaverville for a rally with another moto forum I'm on. it will be a 1000 mile weekend. My ICE mounted friends know that they will have very few concessions to make to accommodate me charging (if at all). They're happy to let me plan the route and stops, so I plan the natural stops (for gas, coffee, meals, stretches on long days) to happen at charging locations. We're all 50-somethings now so a 40ish minute break every 2 or 3 hours of riding is par for the course.

I don't think I'll ever go back to ICE bikes.
