@most:
I am somewhat relieved to hear that your (also vibrating) replacements were not the Oro discs. So there is still a chance that the OEM are for some reason the cause of the vibrations.
At next opportunity I will have discs and pads changed though they still appear to be good - these vibrations during braking turn me nuts and I do not have much confidence in them anymore (which might be unfounded).

Legally allowed replacements (at least in Germany) for the OEM discs are, as far as I know only the Brembo Oro 78B408B2 as they have a so-called KBA number.
Of course, other manufacturer's stuff good for the Ducati Scrambler should be technically OK but I would fail the bi-annual technical test because those are no homologized for Energicas.


@PWM:
I tried the brakes with ABS switched off - pulsating was still there, at least in my case.
