Are there any spools or stands you guys recommend for lifting the front or rear of the S model? I'm about to pull the trigger on one with an L bracket for the frame but I'd rather get spools or something more secure, especially for the front

I've actually been thinking about this after lifting my bike yesterday to align the belt. I also have a stand with the L brackets and it's a piece of shit that twists, I've found a better stand but it only comes with hooks for spools. There's nowhere to bolt them on the swingarm like many bikes so the only option really is to go through the axle. I'll probably end up buying these ones, I've previously bought some axle sliders from the same seller but removed them as they wouldn't actually touched the ground if the bike was laid down.

I am also looking for a way to lift my Zero S 2023.
I am lifting my FXS with this scissor jack, and I put some rubber spacing between the scissor jack and the FXS, since the bottom of the FXS is not completely flat because there are 3 bolt heads sticking out.
Here are pictures of the FXS and of the bottom of my S 2023.
In this old post there is a video of somebody lifting his DSR with a scissor jack. But if you watch at 15s in this video, you see that the bottom of his bike is completely different from the bottom of my S 2023.


I asked to my Zero dealer but he was not able to tell me if the bottom of the Zero S 2023 is strong enough to support the bike's weight...
Can somebody tell us ?

Not a good idea, the S models have a plastic belly pan where as the DS one is aluminium. I've lifted my DS using a scissor jack before, it does the job but it's not the most stable setup.

A scissor jack works OK to lift my 2018 S with power tank - a total of 452 pounds. It has a plastic belly pan that is not completely flat. Perhaps it is stiffened by the metal OBC box that is located directly above it.

What Id be worried about is what is UNDER that plastic belly pan that is getting smooshed once that pan flexes up and mashed against  it when lifting the bike.

I don't know for sure. It could be that the material, design, or thickness of the belly pan has changed since 2018.

I suppose some forks might have a hole on the bottom that those pegs could go in to. Personally I wouldn't go for a stand made from round tube, especially one made of multiple parts. That's what I have and it just twists where it bolts together. I'm going to go for something like this.

Some of the adapters are to go up into the fork, some are i guess you could say hollow, it goes up into the fork and lifts it.  If that is not doable, then they got the hooks to grab the tire and lift it.

Which one to get?
The one with the LONGEST HANDLE.   granted the front end may not be too  bad but some of these heavier bikes (cough cough ELECTRIC BIKES) can be a real mf'er to heft up onto a paddock stand.  you are going to want as many inches of torque leverage you can get off it!  you will want it sturdy metal too.  Some of the cheaper ones are kind of rickety.  Do you want your 30k bike weebling and wobbling on a swaying stand while you are trying to work on it?

The zeromanual says that the plastic belly pan can support the S or SR weight: https://zeromanual.com/wiki/Lift
And it refers to the thread Rear swingarm stand for 16 SR rec request where the problem is discussed.
This thread also shows a picture of a 2016 SR belly pan that looks exactly like my 2023 S. I expect that the plastic quality has not been changed to worse over time...

I took the risk to lift the Zero S from the bottom with the scissor jack and it seems to work fine.
Do not forget the rubber spacer that minimizes areas with high pressure.
