Left/Right mirror tightening/loosening directions.
« on: May 08, 2023, 02:53:10 AM »

2016 SR here. My Zero fell over on the left side when parked. The left mirror now needs adjusting but I'm not sure of the loosening direction. Is it the opposite direction of the right side? Can anyone with an SR, S, DS or DSR check on their bike for me and let me know? Mine is so tight I can't figure out if I'm tightening or loosening it because it won't budge either way.
Thanks so much.

http://zeromanual.com/index.php/Unofficial_Service_Manual#Mirrors
Zero mirrors are mounted from the handlebars with Yamaha/Ducati-style bolt fitting.
The bolt/thread specification is M10x1.25, left-hand-threaded on the right side and standard right-hand-threaded on the left side.
