Hey all, as I mentioned in some other posts I recently picked up my '23 SS9 RS and have found myself with some extra time on my hands so I cant stop myself from taking a road trip to try and find some warm weather. I will be leaving Salt Lake City and heading south towards Vegas, then down the Colorado River to Blythe, then west towards Joshua Tree National Park and LA. Depending on how this part goes Ill either continue up the CA coast or begin my loop back. With the current weather system in the US I am avoiding the frigid desert state of Nevada currently.
I've planned most of my fast charges around Electrify America and EVgo chargers so I can use the most of my purchased charging plans (this can be flexible). I was also planning to bring my EVSE with a NEMA 14-50 adapter to utilize some Level 2 Charging stops in more rural (RV) areas. I have argued with myself on bringing this or not.
I am planning my days to be ~250-350 miles when possible so I can enjoy the scenery more and fret less about charging and where I need to be. I will not be camping; planning to use hotel/motels, AirBnb, and friend's places.
I have been riding for 20 years so [I believe] I have most of the basic knowledge on what to bring etc.. With that said I wanted to open myself up to all of your internet wisdom on anything from places to go/see/stay, things to bring, and of course Energica specific tips.
