"Born to be wind" ???
« on: December 01, 2022, 02:42:38 PM »

I know English is a stupid language in many ways, but to me, this makes no sense either way.

They say the Experia is "born to be wind".

Do they mean "wind" like with the weather?

Or do they mean "wind" like wind up a clock?

And what are they really trying to say?

I find Energica loves to use very stupid meaningless terms. How many MPH/kmph is "ultra-urban" or "Extra-Urban" ?  Is there also a speed for "ultra-rural" where I do most of my riding?

Nah it's just a very smart way to show us that they put more money in tech than marketing  ;)

If that's the case, I hope they keep it that way!

The embarrassing truth is that the Italian-speaking marketing team just assumed it was pronounced the same way as Wild and hence would share a crossover with "Born to be Wild"

And literally no one ran it past a native English speaker.

OIC. I was wondering if it could be from a translation problem.
