I arrived late to this party and didn't order the Experia until late November with Calmoto in Livermore.  The dealer advised me that it would take about 10 weeks, so arrival would be sometime in the latter half of February 2023.
Well, I ordered the launch edition on June 1. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if you get yours first. Perhaps they send them first to the dealers where they can take the most bikes at one time. I am the only Experia order at A&S Cycles in Roseville, so they probably have to just take one bike there from their SSF shop.

I see you're in Vallejo. We will have to go on a ride together to somewhere when we both get our Experias. Vallejo is less than 100 miles from here.

To buy my 2020 SS9-, I had to go the Mtn. View Cal Moto shop in August 2019. Their shops keep on getting closer to me, which is good news. A&S is only 25 miles from here.

I doubt I'll get mine before the launch editions arrive.  I asked for one of the "flame white" paint jobs.  A few weeks ago, I saw a news article that said Energica was going to expand their dealer network to 28 dealers in the US.  I wouldn't be surprised if one popped up in Reno.

That would be nice, but I would expect Las Vegas to be more likely than Reno. But OTOH, Reno is only a couple of hours away from A&S.  Reno could be the next stop on the same day for Energica.

With 28 dealers, perhaps they can do both.

It looks like a few more Experia’s are about to be delivered to their new owners. At least two people on Facebook have gotten the call. I still think most preorder’s will be coming in February or March. I am still  waiting.

Makes little difference to me right now. It's been mostly non-stop raining here in Auburn and no end in sight.

Even worse at my Reno home, deep snow.

How do those people get the call and from whom?

If I only get the call at my main phone number in Reno, I won't even know about it when I am here in Auburn. It's a landline, I never have my cell phone on except when I make a call. Perhaps four or five times per year at the most.

Not sure how it works in the US, here in Germany I placed my order with my local dealer. And it is him that I‘m in contact with. He will call me (I have only one home and my cell is on most of the time) - if not successful, he also got my mail address so I trust we will connect.
BTW, he confirmed to me he will drive down to Modena to fetch a two Experias with his van. He ordered more but two seem to be waiting for pick-up…

Picked up my Experia today. Originally I asked to cancel my order, but after getting a chance to sit on one - I changed my mind. I asked the dealer if I could get back in line (assumed at the end) but got lucky the dealer hadn't even done anything with my pre-order yet. So I was still in line, and I was one of the first in the country in that line.

For reference I placed my order in late May, basically the day they announced the bike. I called the dealer and asked to put a deposit. A few days later the online forum came out.

I didn't get a charging cable, so the dealer is working on that. So far the bike is amazing - but only have got to put about ~40miles on it and with more storms on the way it will be sitting more I'm sure.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Why did you want to cancel at first?

What was your total cost after your 3K$ was paid?

Originally I was going to sell my KTM and just have the Experia. Which I felt wouldn't fit my needs if I wanted to do more remote/long distance riding. But I'm going to just keep both. If I find the Experia meets the needs without issue I'll sell my KTM. KTM is currently in the shop.. getting some costly repairs done ...

My total all in with tax after my $3k deposit was about $28k. Keep in mind, I did add the $1k battery warranty option that is listed so I have the 5 year battery warranty now.

Yep, I actually spoke to Rick via messenger the day he and Sabrina arrived back at their Florida residence. To say they were happy but tired was a bit of an understatement. :)

We demand pics, or it didn't happen!

I realized I've only taken 1 photo... and it isn't a good one. This EvGO 100kwh DCFC failed after a few minutes. Tried another 100kwh at another station and it failed as well. This was on two different days. Yesterday went for a ride and got it down to 30%. I thought maybe it was the bike but then I tried the Electrify America chargers (see 30-80% session below, 25min) and it worked:

I don't know if the EVGO 100kwh chargers are having issues in general or if it's this bike.
