Energica should have a website where you can log in and see where you are at in line, Possible delivery date.

The Oakland shipping terminal is now open for business again. According to news reports today the independent trucker blockade of the Oakland container shipping terminal is over. (They were also threatening to blockade the LA port, too.) They threw in the towel after the cops showed up and threatened to arrest them and the terminal also threatened to sue them over shutting down the port and costing millions of dollars of lost revenue.  To add "insult to injury" Governor Newsom has said he will double-down in enforcing the AB5 law and make sure that all independent contractors in the state either start working for an established (preferably unionized) company or legally create their own trucking business.

The Oakland shipping terminal is now open for business again.
But is that likely to mean Energica will start shipping bikes to Oakland again any time soon?

Perhaps I am using the wrong word. I once recall hearing the term "shipped" means by ground only and they use a different term for by ship. :)

Unless Oakland customs starts taking less than the customs/ship time to go through Florida, I think they'll most likely just keep going through the east coast. From my understanding, even without the shipping issues, Oakland customs is still running 8 weeks.

Plus, they now have a week-long backup to get through as well as the normal deliveries to catch up. The Port handles nothing but shipping container deliveries, is my understanding.  I really doubt that Energica is going to go back to shipping bikes to the West Coast as to me that wouldn't be very logical or efficient, as it is probably faster and cheaper to send the ones going to the west coast via truck from Miami, instead of by way of the Panama Canal.

I submitted my Eva ribelle order on march 15. Not in a huge hurry since it's not great riding weather here in Phoenix Arizona but I am hoping to get an update soon! Not sure if I'm impacted with the CA shipment stuff or not... But thankfully still have my Eva 107 to hold me over till the new one is here. Appreciate all the info posted so far on this thread.

Hey sonofanakin, After you calm down, can you post a pic of what came with the RS, Cable, cover, stand maybe. Hell the whole bike. Congrats!

It has arrived!  It came with a Welcome Kit box with the manuals, warranty cards, the keys, and a tool to adjust the preload on the rear shock.
They also shipped me a portable charger.  I chose the 110 volt.  I t came from Amazon and was this model: https://smile.amazon.com/MEGEAR-100-240V-Portable-Electric-Charging/dp/B097DX8BZF/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?keywords=megear+level+1+ev+charger&qid=1659635538&sprefix=megear%2Caps%2C111&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&smid=ASIYMWBVZG7J0&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExV1hTU0lTMlQySlUyJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNDkxOTIzMjA2WkQxSDJaWlk0VyZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNzkwMzE0MVZMMkZQQkpXSEdUMyZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=

The stands and the cover haven't arrived yet.

I t came from Amazon and was this model:
I looks like that one can be used with 240 VAC also, just by making an adapter.

Does everything shut down for month of August? I assume bikes that are in transport and prep for delivery will keep moving. I'd hate to get first bike assembled after a month of vacation, somethings might get overlooked.

As far as I know the factory is just offline for August. I assume that means they closed down for end of day as usual on July 31, and then will resume like nothing happened on September 1.

The more I hear about various European labor practices, the more I envy them.  ;)
