Which Level 2 wall plug comes with RS, Can someone take a pic?  Was planning on doing some prewire prior to bikes arrival.

They gave me an option of a level 1 or level 2. But I think that depends on if you get it direct or through a dealer.

Ordering from the manufacturer, I did not choose a level 2 charger as I already have one.  I don't even recall if it was an option accessory.

IIRC, your Energica will charge at half the rate of your old SR on a Level2 station, as it is only 3kW, whereas the Zero is 6kW.  You'll get considerably faster charging from a CCS station if there's one near you.

Indeed.  I expect to use it mostly for cell balancing or overnight charging before a big ride day.

The Energicas are 24KW charging with CCS.  Less when battery is hot or near the end of charge, of course. But that makes it double the charge speed of any Zero with charge tank as that is 12KW max.

Yeah, I too wish they could squeeze in  a 6 KW AC charger in the Eneguica as there are places where  that is all that is available. But I can charge my 2017 Zero SR at 8KW, so that takes care of that issue. I just take a different bike depending on possible charge locations.

They just gave me the option of a level 1 or 2 charger as well.  Was not expecting that.  I’ve asked for specs for both as I don’t quite understand what they are providing.

A "granny cable" for either 120 VAC or 240 VAC.  Some do both, but then it's a different plug.

They should do it the Tesla M3 way. One adpaper with a bunch of AC plugs. Then they have to ask no questions. But that will cost more than a phone call. But it also means we have our choice on what AC outlet we want to charge from.

I made my own cables. Very short cords.  Take a close look at the outlet here.  Notice I was the ONLY check-in ever there. Click on photo of my Zero SR  bike and see the last photo which is of the outlet. I can also use these on my Energica.

It is a good thing that new Energicas are not being shipped through California terminals anymore.  Today independent truckers are blocking the Oakland ship terminal protesting the implementation of California's AB 5 law that will make it illegal to operate as an owner-operator truck driver in the state. Independent truck owner/drivers would either have be hired by an established trucking company or incorporate themselves as their own trucking company.   >:(

BTW, this new law even applies to newspaper delivery "boys", which are mostly performed by independent contractors who are not employees of the newspaper - which are most of them.

Why did CA believe such a law is needed?  The first I heard about it, but I mainly live in NV and I don't watch the news much.

My understanding is that it was pushed through the Legislature by various unions, like the Taxi drivers and Teamsters, who were particularly upset about ride-hailing services, as well as independent truckers who were not joining their unions. Uber and other ride-hailing platforms paid millions to get a proposition on the CA ballot to make the law not apply to their companies. The proposition passed and now they are exempt from needing to hire the drivers that pick up passengers as their employees and having to pay for various health, insurance and other benefits. Unfortunately the independent truck owner/drivers (and everyone else in the same situation, such as newspapers) just didn't have the financial resources to file a similar proposition proposal, which is very expensive to obtain the necessary signatures in this state.

The news about the trucker protest shutting down the Oakland Shipping Terminal hit my newspaper today. Attached is page 1 of the article.

I have a lot of friends/family/acquaintances in CA.. Almost all of them have no idea why California does 9/10's of the stuff it does.
