US deliveries this month?
« on: July 11, 2022, 06:20:33 AM »

I heard that 3 containers of new bikes arrived in SF over a month ago and were being prepped for delivery. Mine is one of them. Wondering how many here have taken delivery in the last month, most likely from these three containers.

How many per container and when did you order the RS?

I don't know how many are in a container.  I ordered in December.

I know two people in the Sacramento area who took delivery of their Ribelle RS's within the last month, so yours shouldn't be far behind.

That's good to hear, thanks.  I just hope they are moving through them faster than that.   ;)

There were a BUNCH of bikes delivered right before memorial day. The distribution of them got absolutely destroyed due to the Experia launch. I was lucky (and annoying enough) to get them to ship mine out, but they've been sending people back and forth to Italy for training and that's been delaying some shipments. My guess is it will level out here soon.

Also.. main port moving to Florida will DRASTICALLY accelerate shipment deliveries from Italy.

My guess is lead times are going to radically shorten over the next months.

My son lives in Port St Luce, when the ship docks, I'll have him go get mine.

I'm still trying to wrap my brain around the fact a European manufacturer would ship product into the United States WEST coast rather than any of the multitude of available ports on the East Coast.  That makes absolutely no sense to me at ALL.

If I remember correctly, only way you can get a freighter to the west coast is via Panama Canel. From Italy

That's the shortcut.  You can also sail around the southern tips of either Africa or South America...

I got 'The Call' yesterday!  Wooohooo!

Nailing down the finances and paperwork now and will be shipping to me shortly.  So relieved to get it while there is still time to ride this season.

Congrats! You're going to love that Ribelle RS. I went from an SR to a 13.4 kWh SS9 and it was a revelation, and your Ribelle will be even more powerful than mine and 50 lbs lighter.

Hey sonofanakin, After you calm down, can you post a pic of what came with the RS, Cable, cover, stand maybe. Hell the whole bike. Congrats!

Hey Wade.

Mine came with the bike, owners manual, rear adjustment tool, keys, key fob, and a level 2 charger with a level 1 adapter. Can get pics later today.

Will do.   I will not have everything at first.  Most of the accessories will be shipped directly to me from Italy, rather than coming with the bike.  I can post pics when the bike comes of what all came with it.  Then I can post pics again later when the rest shows up.  I apologize now if the photos are blurry from shaky hands.   ;D
