I've mentioned this before, but if you have an FST bike(an SR, SRF, or SRS),  and you have connected the official app to the bike, you are most likely now limited to FST SR top speed and torque levels.

If you have a serial cable, you may be able to issue the riding_modes command to see what your the limits of your bike for each mode, but I am unsure if that is available without logging in.

A fix for this has been promised by Zero to come out soon. The only near term fix is to have the dealer reload the latest firmware and not to connect the app. This means no custom mode.

After a visit to the dealer with my 2019 SR/F in late March I got the latest firmware everywhere (MBB, BMS, dashboard, controller, etc.) so I might "qualify" for that loss of torque. What values are we talking about, do you have any figure? I couldn't find anything here or on Facebook. Thanks in advance.

By the way, whomever is contemplating upgrading the dashboard firmware, be aware that the old one was more readable and better overall. In the new dashboard, speed replaced SoC in the large analog circle, wich is useless since you have it already as large digits.

[Edit] Found it on Zero website (https://www.zeromotorcycles.com/model/zero-sr).
Peak torque values:
- ZERO SR (2021)  122 ft-lb (166 Nm)
- ZERO SRF (2021) 140 ft-lb (190 Nm)

So that translates into a loss of about 13% of torque

I have MBB v21 installed and have connected the app to monitor charging.  In looking at the Ride Modes on the app, the top speed for the Sport and Canyon modes is back to 127 mph, but the Power setting for both is 95%.

Since mine upgraded to whichever version first introduced CANYON mode, I've been totally unable to connect to the bike via bluetooth, so I guess I'll never know...

Cas :)

The MBB v23 release is out for FST bikes and is supposed to partially fix the issue. Supposedly it'll reset the bike modes to their full power, not sure the app is fixed though

Cool thanks!! We will have to wait and see if this really fixes the issue or not. I have posted this on the FB group as well as there are many there waiting for this fix.

Where did you get the release notes?  The Zero web site still shows v21 as the latest.

Anyone got recommendations for ways to help a firmware update succeed? 3 fails in a row for me.

Same here.  Gets about 2 or 3 minutes in and just says there was an error and to turn bike off for 3 minutes and try again.  I have tried again about 10 times over the course of the past 2 days.  I give up...

Same repeated failures for me - for v23 and v21 prior to that. Seemed OK when I went from v19 to v20.

Mine has worked now. Probably took 7 attempts.  I'll report in after my ride to work tomorrow morning on whether anything has changed.

I'm a dealer, release notes get included with the FW whenever it's released and shown in our tools. The website takes longer usually.
I would guess they wrote the release notes and then did a new version of FW internally and forgot to update the release notes. There is no 22 in the field
