'Electric beat' missing in settings
« on: May 11, 2022, 02:00:22 PM »

I have a brand spanking new Ribelle '22 and a friend has a '18 Eva. When he starts the bike he has the funky tank-LED animation, and I was expecting my bike to also have it but I'm missing the 'Electric beat' menu item in settings. Does that mean I have to go without the flashy tank logo animation? Not like the world's going to end when it's not there but if a '22 Ribelle should have it, it should work right?

My '21 SS9+ has it... turned off all the time shortly after I discovered how much heat it's add to an already hot charging situation.

Could be a silent change or cost cutting measure. Or do you have a carbon insert in the middle? I think those also no longer have the LEDs.

Found it when fiddling around, turned out an Italian dude forgot to plug it in :P
Funky that the menu item appears only when the module is plugged in so they did take it into consideration to remove it. Else it'll be wasted code space to check for the module...

Local dealer told me that if the bike is bought with the tank piece in carbon it will not have this light feature.
