Zero S 2021 brake and accelerate suspect noise

Hi all,
this is my first electric bike so i need to know which sound is just sound and which is noise maybe causing a possible issue in the future.
bike ran just 300km (200miles).

two main noises bother me:
1) noise coming from rear brake while braking at low speed. I later found it was told inside this forum and seems it’s due to original poor brake pads. so not an issue, except ridiculous sound
2) a random noise while accelerating at low speed. possibly related to belt and/or rear brake system. for this one i didn’t find anything on forum so i ask you if it’s okay or if i need to get some help

Your rear brake sounds a lot like mine does before it gets good and hot. I also think mine has been getting better as I've tried to wear it in some. The problem is, it's a rear brake ... on a motorcycle. It doesn't get all that worn even when you go out of your way to use it. I think I've come across some people claiming other pads will get rid of the noise. I just switched to regen rear breaking. Of course, you can only do that if you have the cable and software to program the motor controller.

As for the noise under drive, it's hard to say without seeing it. You've obviously got some kind of harmonic there. First, I'd download the Gates belt tension app and use it to check the belt tension if you don't have any other way. Assuming the belt tension is good, I'd run it on a stand and see if the vibration is there unloaded. If it is, feel for anything "bumpy" spots in the rotation of the wheel. Unfortunately, you probably wouldn't be able to feel anything in the motor bearings without removing the drive belt and manipulating the motor shaft directly. If everything is still smooth, I'd suspect a hormonic from the torque output of the motor, which would more than likely be a motor controller tuning issue you'd have to take up with your dealer.

That isn't an all encompassing list, but it might get your started.

before dismounting parts I'll involve dealer as bike is about 1month old so I suppose either belt and brake were properly set before delivery..
I'm not really concerned about brake noise as it's not happening when it's hot and, of course, it's a brake.. at worst I'll have to replace pads.
I'm more concerned about harmonics when accelerating.. hoping to not bring damage to engine.

before dismounting parts I'll involve dealer as bike is about 1month old so I suppose either belt and brake were properly set before delivery..
I'm not really concerned about brake noise as it's not happening when it's hot and, of course, it's a brake.. at worst I'll have to replace pads.
I'm more concerned about harmonics when accelerating.. hoping to not bring damage to engine.

My new 2018 S made a vibrating feel when accelerating from a stop that i found kind of irritating. But it went away after about 1K miles. As mentioned above if the belt is too tight, loose or slightly miss-aligned, you will get a similar feeling. It is my impression that the factory tends to over tighten the drive belt when the bikes are assembled at the factory.

My rear brakes squeak when I push the bike backwards in my garage. Otherwise they are quiet. However, when new my front brake made a very loud squealing noise when coming to a stop. Replacing the original brake pads with EBC brand, completely solved that issue and also improved braking performance.  :)

Do you use sinter or organic brake pads from EBC?

honestly I don't know.
bike is brand new.. just 1 month old and 400km rode

It was more a question to "Richard230". He told, that he changed his brake pads to a product of EBC.

I am using the sintered EBC brake pads. EBC #FA209/2HH. They work great and are completely quiet when braking. They are producing some very slight grooving of the brake disc surface in the direction of travel, but no more so than I have seen on the other motorcycles that I have owned.
