Oddity in Android
« on: September 23, 2021, 11:53:09 PM »

I don't know if this is related to an Android update, or an update to the Zero app... but now whenever I start the Zero app I get a pop-up asking me if I want to put the phone in "Driving Mode."  If I click "Yes" then the Zero app is overlaid by the Amazon Music App!  Has anyone else seen this?  I have a Samsung Galaxy S10.  This started happening a couple of weeks ago and I meant to say something the first time I noticed it but by the time I got back to my computer it had slipped my mind.

It's a new Android feature supposedly to aid hands-free use.

Interesting.  The Zero app must be letting Android know that it is a "driving app" in order for this to happen though I would think...

Yeah, the app has been able to do that since at least 2019.  You basically can have another dashboard.
