Serious custom windscreen for SS9
« on: September 20, 2021, 03:07:05 AM »

Seen on Twitter. It’s from a gardering at Misano (Italy).

Noticed that huge screen…

The whole point of riding a motorcycle is to get some wind, I thought. In this way you better consider a C2 from BMW ( oke not electric ) and in some countries you
don't even need a helmet and there are also things to close it on the side  ..... wait a minute there is also something that is called a car, could be an option to :P

Yeah I don’t at all care about wind - only the noise that travels with it.
I guess this is nice when it’s raining :)

Do you know what it is?  Getting a lot of wind to the body is great on a nice day, but on a wet day the wind to the sides of the body is plenty, I would love to have chest and neck in the shadow of a good windscreen.

I think many screens would suit your need.
But it might create more noise - wind pressure at bottom of helmet!

This screen is supplied by Marchel, our Dutch importer. I’ve got the same. Compared to no screen it is a bit noisier, but keeps the wind off nicely (and rain as well).

I've seen huge Harley "Batwing" fairings put on almost everything so adapting a larger windscreen to an Energica should not be hard.
