I have the new display installed on my 2020 DSR.  I like it.  The lack of clock is a bummer, I just added it to my app instead.  It looks great, even in sun and is well laid out.  I'd love a reason to upgrade to the DSR/X, but if it isn't a bigger battery or more power, or something like that, I'll stay with my DSR.

My clock gets off by about 40 minutes a year.  It's a bit annoying.

I saw the video; nice! They made it plug and play by the looks of it

I have my zero for 11 months now; my clock is still correct to the minute or 2. (when i set it; it was also correct to the minute or 2; but thats because of me  :P)
I can imagine the RTC will degrade over time;

Clocks are usually as bad as the day they were made until they start failing.  Yours probably just has a better quartz oscillator.

I've had to adjust mine 2 or 3 times now in about 2 years of ownership, the most recent being yesterday when it was ahead by about 5 minutes.

My Zero display clock gains about two minutes a month. The cheap battery-powered analog clock that I stuck to my mirror is much more accurate than that. I never have to correct the time between the yearly time shifts.

I don't know... that TFT display looks like something just slapped on to the bike.  The old instrument panel looks far more integrated...

I guess time will tell how water and sun resistant it is.

I hope people don't think it's a left behind cell phone and try to yank it off.

The TFT is what the rest of the industry has been moving to for the last decade.

I don't know why anyone thinks it"s weird or special.  And they' e had them on their SR line for the last two years, so they know how they're affected by sun already.

I've never noticed one that wasn't in a "housing" and just sticking out there.

Probably got the idea from Tesla.  Whoever designed the interior of those cars needs to be booted OUT of the automobile industry for the rest of his or her life.  DUMBEST dashboard design I've EVER seen in what is supposed to be a premium automobile.

How is it not in a housing?
