The belt on my 2018 S was noisy also until about 1K miles, when it became much more quiet. Now you can't hear it over the sound of the motor, which is not all that loud to begin with. I doubt you could design a more quiet motorcycle (enclosed cars and scooters excepted) than what Zero has done with their bikes.  :)
Just west of around Newcastle, my Tesla has so much road noise from the tires it almost hurts my ears. And my hearing is poor.

However, I have wondered if I would even hear any road noise if there was an ICE engine running.

It seems to me when you get rid of one noise, all the other noises get much louder, and in some cases can seem even louder when some noises are removed.  If that makes any sense is another question. :)

After a long ride the other day I stopped at a Target store to get a six pack and then since my shop is only on the other side of the Mall I rode there with no helmet or earplugs and noticed that the belt noise was louder than usual. I put in on the track stand and closely inspected the belt and sprockets. There was a little nick in the outside edge of one of the teeth probably caused by a rock. No real serious damage, just a little piece of rubber sticking out the side of the belt. I snipped it off and then noticed several globs of road tar stuck to the sprockets. Not noticeable on casual inspection but visible with a light. I carefully scraped them off, one had some very small pieces of gravel stuck to it. I used a small wire brush to clean the front and rear sprocket teeth and a bristle brush to clean the toothed side of the belt. Took it for a quick test ride and the belt noise was back to normal. So it might be worth while to inspect and clean the belt and sprockets once in a while or when noise seems to increase. So much for the idea that belts are no maintenance. Low maintenance maybe. No chain lube making a mess either.

alignment is perfect with 1mm of clearance from the rear sprocket side, tension is perfect at the lower third of the recommended range, belt is clean and in a good shape.

the noise is so loud at certain speeds that I ride faster or slower only to avoid hearing it, as loud as the infamous rear brake squeal. it seems like the noise level is cylic with a 10km/h period, like at 30km/h it is loud af, at 35 almost silent, at 40 loud again...

A perfectly-adjusted belt that is as loud as the brake banshee squeal??
That doesn't seem like it could be the belt. Check out the brakes, motor bearings and wheel bearings!

Above message says:

"My belt has traveled 39000 km, it makes noise only at the start then unfortunately it becomes silent.
I travel in custom with 40% torque, that's enough for me. As soon as I pass through Milan, I stop by the dealer to buy one.
Has anyone ever tried to fit a nylon stocking as a rescue strap to get home? Rep"

Voi che ne saprete più di me, se monto il kit pignone e corona con passo allungato l '  autonomia aumenta o rimane uguale,  di sicuro cala la ripresa ma questo non mi interessa grazie

You who will know more than me, if I mount the pinion and crown kit with extended wheelbase the autonomy increases or remains the same, for sure the recovery decreases but this does not interest me thanks

Videos sharing the sounds of everyone's drivetrain would be a great tool to compare.

I'm about to turn over 500 miles and my.bike has gotten MUCH louder. It definitely whines under any throttle.

I have checked tension, I'm at about 40.

Going to double check that when I get home from today's ride.

This is perhaps the best example I have that's already uploaded, skip to 2:25 if it doesn't automatically start there.
