Be on the lookout for a survey from Zero
« on: March 20, 2021, 05:43:30 PM »

It's a short survey asking what you want in new Zero bikes sent to your E mail of record with Zero.
You can prioritize features and styles that you want to see in the future.

As always, if you don't vote don't complain later.    ;)

I filled out my survey as soon as I received it on Thursday and then sent it to my daughter who completed it yesterday.  :) It is probably a good idea that Zero gets responses from women and not only men.   ;)

I hope many say a reverse gear and a center stand. At least on the SR.

My comments were for better aero for better range.
I should have also included reverse.

I am glad to hear they are asking. I've heard too many times that Zero didn't care much about that their customers wanted.

But now it's get a bit more competitive with electric motorcycles.

I asked for DCFC, then bigger battery. Those are the only two things I would have liked my SR/F to have, as it nails everything else. The questions in the survey were a little "odd"... like they've got a specific agenda on a few items and they're not interested in what we really want as such, but of their engineers' pet projects which ones are we most interested in them doing first.

I once got a phone phone call survey from Zero. They asked me if I would have still purchased my DS if the 6.5KWH battery was not available and if they only sold the DS with 13 KWH.

I told them it would be  very unlikely, because then it would be above the weight  limit of my RV trailer hitch and I will then be looking for a lighter electric motorcycle. But then I would consider the FX, but it doesn't have luggage available, does it?  I need all that also for my RV trips. And to be removable.

I have found my Zero DS to be the perfect bike to take on my motorhome for many reasons.

FX(S) has a factory rear rack available.  I carry a lot of stuff on my FXS.  Filled out the current survey.  Reliability was my #1 priority as it's my daily driver and I had a bad experience.  I included range and charge time since that's what I see the most, thought what I have fits my needs.  Forgot to include progressive regen, which is a perennial wish of mine.  Not great new for Zero sales, but I'm happy with my current bike and plan to ride it until the wheels fall off.  I might be tempted by an FXSR.

Hello,

Is it possible that this survey has been send to a limited number of owners as I haven't found any trace of it in my mailbox. I'm living in Europe (Belgium), maybe there is some delay in the sending of this survey in Europe.

It positive that Zero is requesting feedback from it current clients, I would be pleased to respond.

Hi, Jan.  I could only speculate as to why you haven't gotten one yet, but you could always email them and ask if the EU is included or how you can participate.
I'm sure they welcome all feedback in their efforts.

Also perhaps you need to have signed up for their newsletter to be on the list?

I do not get their newsletter, but I did get the survey.  The thing I want most is to eliminate delays in communication between Zero and dealers that result in weeks-long wait times to get customers back on the road.

I assume that Zero is sending out the surveys to customers of which they have their emails on file. They likely just pushed a button and sent out the survey to everyone who has filed their email with them. If they are not doing so to customers outside the U.S. there might be a reason. Perhaps having to do with not wanting to have to translate their survey into different languages.  ???

What I would like to see is a survey sent to the general public who do not own an electric motorcycle, or perhaps no motorcycle at all. That would likely produce interesting results for any company thinking of expanding their market as we all head toward the day when new ICE vehicles will no longer be sold.

I expect you would get a lot of "electric motorcycles are too much hassle".

A lot of people don't like change and will only see the disadvantages compared to ICE.

That's because they are a hassle. Tesla has figured out how to fix the problem: by making it not a hassle.

ICE bikes are a hassle, too.

It's just we got used to going to the gas station.

Spouse is always laughing that my bike seems always ready to go and hers... isn't ^-^
