He appears to have entirely skipped Mike Corbin's electric bike in the 70s that he made and sold 250 of. And never mentions the LiveWire. And thinks LS-218s are a thing.

And I have no idea why he thinks they have a delay to reacting to throttle inputs.

After the first few minutes of the Noob's video, which I did find interesting, I zoned out and dropped out.  ;)

I've since learned this guy is pretty much despised amongst the motorcycle community. I feel justified for not liking him.

By who?  For being a Youtube guy?

Look, please don't say needlessly negative things.

By anyone who's not paid to be in his videos and isn't in their early twenties or younger. His videos are clickbait trash where he repeats the same shit over and over to make it longer and most of the time he doesn't know what the hell he's talking about, either making shit up or repeating what he's heard from some other idiot. He's also a total scumbag and a shitty rider and should be in jail.

Someone made this after Yammie ran into a yellow Porsche while riding outside of his limits

Yikes! That's a nasty crash, but a funny video.

My opinion on the conversation: The negativity here doesn't help build a stronger community. We are still a minority and should focus on constructive conversations that help build a better community. TheRan's post might be better directed to YouTube's comment section.

There is a lot of content out there. I don't think Yammie's video is really for us here on EMF. We know about the three motorcycles his is talking about and a whole lot more. But maybe his video will get somebody interesting in EVs and our community will grow.

Trust me, Yammie has done far more damage to the community than I could ever do. He's the exact opposite of the kind of people the motorcycling community needs and there's absolutely nothing to gain from watching any of his videos.

Was the article about the Harley lead acid battery motorcycle linked on here or in the AMA magazine?

I was not aware of the Indian Papoose.  Since the factory was close in Springfield Ma.  The video was worth the effort to watch I suppose.  There is a museum, wonder if they have one.

Yammie has, since that crash, advocated safer riding, training, and safety gear consistently.

So I think mentioning it saying more negative things about you than it does about him.

Anyone want to put a definition of community in the context it has been used here?

Every nugget of Yammie should be dipped in DDFM sauce. I worry about the beginners following YN though, as they'll be getting exactly the wrong attitude to biking.
