SR/S European road trip story
« on: October 26, 2020, 07:40:29 PM »

I think you may find this story interesting, especially as it includes comments regarding the Zero SHAD luggage and how it affects performance. Also, their trip did not go as smoothly as the riders had hoped and included a charger not connected properly and a broken ignition key that put one of the bikes out of commission: https://electricmotorcycles.news/the-pack-team-on-a-2000-km-road-trip-with-a-zero-sr-s/

Interesting read, thanks for sharing.
A snapped key is a new one for me. Haven't heard that before on a Zero bike.

It's still a mechanical key, that's going to happen to some number of them.

Great read. Thanks for the share. Just purchased a new Zero SR with the additional Power Tank. Will be doing some longer rides and this is some great info to help with my planning. Downloaded an EV app (PlugShare) to find charging stations more easily. And purchased a J1772 Charging Adapter so I can tap into more EV charging stations. Looking forward to how far I can take my new bike here in Colorado.
