Remember Curtiss Motorcycles?
« on: June 17, 2020, 01:06:38 AM »

No mention of those three oddball prototypes that were unveiled last year.  Their website now only mentions one model:  The Curtiss-1.  Doesn't look like they're using a Zero powertrain anymore either but they've developed their own motor.  Be interesting to keep an eye on what they're doing.  No mention of price but, well... if you have to ask...

LATER:  I stand corrected.  $81,000 USD, and they want $9,000 USD as a deposit.  At least they make the Lightning LS218 or the Harley Livewire look affordable.

;D  No doubt it will be built to museum quality.  ;)  Good luck selling that bike at that price and with those looks.  ::)

I've been riding motorcycles since 1982.  I've been across the continent east to west and north to south on more than one occasion, and attended many of the major bike rallies in that time.  I've only ever seen ONE Confederate (the former name of Curtiss Motorcycles) motorcycle that actually belonged to a private owner and licensed on the street.  How does a company like that stay in business??
