Perhaps if you ran the bike all the way down to 0 SOC and then recharge, it would re-calibrate itself, but I am not real sure if that will work on a Zero. But it works on many other items that contain some type of BMS, so perhaps Zero also.

But even if not, for now, I wouldn't even worry about it.   But if it gets progressively worse, such as only charging to 90% later, I would then expect you have a bad on-board charger.

Do you have another charger to try  besides the OBC?

Well, I know that happens to my 2014 S if the temperature changes radically from when it started charging to when it finishes.  It thinks it got to 100%, but then it's like, 'wait, no, I was wrong.' and displays a lower amount.

I forgot to mention that you should check the battery voltage (use the app) when it stops charging.  If at 116.5 VDC at 95%, then you know for certain the issue is the calibration.  116.5  VDC is normal for 100% charged.

For earlier model years, such as my 2014S, there was a slow (over months) monotonic trend downward in maximum charging level owing to a degrading on-board charger. As you describe your observations to date of <100% charging displayed being sporadic, on-board charger degradation isn't consistent with your observations, but if that pattern were to develop you might bear that possibility in mind.
